Do the printers work on plastic?

We have a variety of printer models and inks available that work excellent on various types of plastics.

The main consideration for printing on non porous surfaces like different types of plastics is the ink type. All of our SNEED-JET printers use solvent-based, fast-drying inks specifically formulated for printing on plastics such as PET, HDPE, PVC, polypropylene, and more.

The typical dry time when printing on plastic is any where from instant to a few seconds. The surface must be completely clean and dry before printing to ensure proper ink adhesion. Ink permanence can vary depending on the specific plastic substrate. For details, see Is the ink permanent or indelible?

We offer complimentary preliminary ink testing at our global headquarters in Houston, Texas. Simply send us some of your materials and we will perform print samples to send back to you for approval prior to purchasing the printer.
